The studio behind the site

Every frame on this page was rendered in Dolly — a Metal engine built for search-and-rescue, re-aimed at cinematography.

Inside the engine

The operator

A firefighter who ships software like a studio.

Nathan Haring is an active firefighter with Sugar Creek Fire Department and a father. The portfolio reads the way it does because of both: family-safety systems, emergency tooling, privacy-first architecture, and software that holds up when it matters.

The run started in October 2025 at a kitchen table, answering one household question — what can we afford? — and turned into native apps on the App Store, a render studio with its own custom Metal engine, open-source tooling on PyPI, and a delivery network serving his own town. KCTV5 and Fox4 ran segments on GoKC ahead of the 2026 World Cup.
