Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using BRYKK (“the App”), you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

BRYKK is a family safety application that may include family location sharing, saved places, arrivals and departures, family chat and voice features, SOS and crash alerts, trip history, translation, weather context, and companion experiences across supported Apple devices.

Some features are available free as part of BRYKK Safe. Additional features may be offered through BRYKK Life.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use BRYKK independently. Children under 13 may use BRYKK only with the involvement of a parent or legal guardian through a family-managed setup. By using BRYKK, you represent that you meet these requirements.

4. Your Devices and Apple Account

BRYKK relies on Apple device, account, and app-platform features to operate across supported devices. You are responsible for the security of the devices and Apple account used with BRYKK, including passcodes, two-factor authentication, and device access.

5. Family Groups and Invite Codes

BRYKK is built around family groups. When you create or join a family, you agree to share the family information and safety context that the app is designed to show within that family.

Family codes and invite flows should be treated as private. Share them only with people you intend to add to your family.

Entering a family code or opening a join link does not guarantee access. BRYKK may require family approval before a new device joins a family.

You may leave a family at any time unless your device has been marked as supervised by a family admin.

6. Family Admin and Supervised Members

Family admins can manage the family group, including certain member settings, supervised status, and family administration tools. Admins are responsible for using those controls carefully and keeping local admin credentials secure.

If you forget your admin credentials, BRYKK may not be able to recover them for you. We strongly recommend that each family maintain more than one admin.

Supervised status is intended for children or dependents and may limit the supervised member's ability to leave the family on their own.

7. User Content and Conduct

You are responsible for the content you create or share in BRYKK, including chat messages, voice messages, profile photos, saved places, and similar content.

• You may not use BRYKK to harass, threaten, stalk, abuse, or harm another person.
• You may not use BRYKK for unlawful conduct, fraud, spam, or commercial solicitation.
• You may not upload or send content that infringes another person's rights.
• You may not use BRYKK to monitor adults without their knowledge and consent.

8. BRYKK Safe and BRYKK Life

BRYKK Safe: Core safety features are provided free of charge. BRYKK Safe currently includes the live family map, place arrivals and departures, active trip follow, SOS, crash detection, text family chat, up to 4 approved family members, and up to 2 saved places.

BRYKK Life: Premium features may be offered by subscription, including features such as translation, full trip history and playback, voice messaging, day planner and departure countdown surfaces, premium customization, additional saved places, and expanded family limits. Current launch pricing is $6.99/month or $49.99/year. Pricing may change for future customers with notice where required.

Subscriptions are billed by Apple through the App Store. Refunds, billing management, and cancellations are handled through your Apple account.

9. Safety Features Disclaimer

BRYKK's safety features, including SOS, crash alerts, arrivals, departures, and location sharing, are designed to assist families but are not guarantees. BRYKK is not a substitute for calling emergency services directly or for exercising common sense in emergencies.

Location, alerting, and communication features may be delayed, incomplete, or unavailable due to device conditions, permissions, connectivity, third-party platform availability, or other factors outside our control.

10. Translation and Medical Information Disclaimer

Translation features are provided for convenience and may contain errors. Do not rely on BRYKK alone for life-critical translation or medical communication.

Medical information shown in BRYKK is based on information supplied by the user or made available through supported Apple features. It is your responsibility to keep that information accurate and current.

11. Privacy

Your use of BRYKK is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains what information is processed by the app and how it is handled.

12. Termination

You may stop using BRYKK at any time by leaving your family where allowed and deleting the app from your devices. We may restrict or terminate use of BRYKK if we reasonably believe you are violating these Terms or using the app in a harmful or unlawful way.

13. Disclaimer of Warranties

BRYKK is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BRYKK and its creator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profit, goodwill, or use, arising out of or related to your use of the app.

This includes damages arising from service interruptions, inaccurate alerts, missed alerts, location inaccuracies, device failure, account compromise, platform issues, or your reliance on BRYKK as a substitute for emergency, medical, legal, or parental judgment.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri, United States, without regard to conflict of law rules. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of BRYKK shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Jackson County, Missouri, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.

16. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of BRYKK after updated Terms are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
